Erudite professor and candidate for the Nigerian Bar Association presidency Mr Ernest Ojukwu, SAN, has reacted to yet another police brutality — this time, against a Magistrate
Professor Ojukwu said in the press release that:
“News of Police invasion of Umuneke Ngor Magistrate Court Imo State, harrassment of the Magistrate, and arrest and detention of two lawyers from the court is a clear signal of anarchy in the country.
“This is why the Bar requires to decisively engage with the Police Institution. The Police has crossed the red line too many.” He protested.
TheLoyal Nigerian Lawyer demand an immediate end to this worrisome trend.
This sacrilege must stop.
